Go Dog Go

I started to keep up this blog and once again have failed to keep up like I should. For right now I just wanted to write a very quick entry. It's simply about Dr. Seuss's Go Dog Go. Many of you know that I have taken care of little ones since I was little and used to tag along with my sisters to babysit. I then did the babysitting myself, went on to teach in preschool, and went on to nanny. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I have read Go Dog Go to all of the little ones I've cared for. It was my favorite and I can vividly remember the kids mouthing the words "do you like my hat?", or finishing their favorite lines before I could finsh reading them. No matter what when we picked that book they all quickly sat criss-cross applesauce and excitedly joined me with silly accents. I loved those days and still miss those days but I can't tell you the joy I felt when I read that very book for the first time to my very own sweet precious girls. Indescribable.
