I got it! A scavenger hunt involving candy....and cold hard cash! Perfect :)

So I cannot even believe I'm writing about my precious Colby turning 9 years old! (ok he's really Kristie's but I do like to claim him every so often) Again...sob,sob, sniff, sniff! It seems like yesterday I was standing outside of the hospital room, hearing him cry for the very first time. Where are the days of "what's dat noise???".."it's a duuuuucky!!!" Where are the days of "Colby, what'd that boy eat again??" "Jojo, he ate a booooooo-ger!". As cliche' as it sounds, oh how the times flies! I remember about a month ago Kristie put up some pictures on facebook of him playing basketball (did I mention he's going to be the next MJ??) and I found myself crying at the sight of this grown up boy. He is truly growing too fast and is such a sweet boy who has the biggest heart. If I know one thing I know that he loves his family and loves his mommy the most. On his birthday Colby even called Kristie from his dad's house a few mins before 3:47 pm because he wanted to talk to her the very minute he officially turned nine-he even did a countdown and they said goodbye to eight together :)
His first big clue! :)
I'm inspired by my sisters and the amazing jobs they do as mothers. I learn from them constantly. I hope they know that because I want to be just as good as they are at the toughest job in the world...being a mom. I missed sweet Riley's birthday this year and I hate it :( I will have to come up with a super cool and fun idea for his next birthday! Hmmm...now what in the heck do you get a 6 year old boy for his birthday??? :)
