Love letters :)

So we moved into our house last Christmas and as you can imagine, after only nine months we still have a little ways to go. I think I've done ok in getting the house together but a house is never done right? The girls room has been no exception. It is a work in progress for sure. One thing I've desperately wanted in their room is something over each crib. I thought about paintings but I figured the girls would just mess with them and Id worry they would fall. In the last house I tried the vinyl monograms and you could barely see them. I was at a loss so I decided to leave it until inspiration hit. While the girls were in school one day last week I decided to run in New River Pottery. They have cute stuff for great prices and it's just a fun stop if you have the time. I decided to peek at frames and happened to walk by these cardboard letters on the way. I had walked by them a time or two before. I had even put them in my cart and then put them back a time or two before. I don't know why it didn't occur to me until now that they would be a perfect over the crib project. I'm glad to say I put them in my cart and kept them this time because they turned out awfully cute :) Even though they took quite a while and I'm still picking modge podge out of my nails, they were so worth it for my sweet little monkeys :)
